Commercial Subscriptions
1.INTRODUCTION:
Any decoder that is installed/used outside of a normal, single-unit domestic household falls under the category of Commercial Sales.
The services available to Commercial Subscribers are vastly different to Domestic Household Subscribers, and subscription fees vary according to the type of application.
Enabling a commercial establishment under the auspices of a domestic installation is an infringement of the programme rights from our programme suppliers. This constitutes a criminal act, and is an offence for which a severe penalty can be imposed.
In each instance a separate subscription agreement must be signed.
2. ANALOGUE SERVICE:
2.1 Pubs ‘n clubs
This category of subscriber covers all venues/ areas that are open to the general public.
Programming is strictly limited to receiving sports only.
• Public bars
• Restaurants
• Stadiums, etc.
Subscription fees:
• Normal TV Sets R 308.30 per month (Including VAT)
2.2 Restricted Viewing
This category of subscriber covers all venues not open to the general public, and there are no restrictions on the type of programming allowed.
• Private clubs
• TV Lounge in residential hotels
• Company recreation areas
• Fire stations, security companies, control rooms etc.
Subscription Fees:
• Normal TV sets R 406.70 per month (Including VAT)
2.3 Subsidised Communal/ Restricted viewing
A special subsidised rate of subscription fee is available to Government Institutions, and charitable organisations that have a registered fund raising number. This registered fund raising number must appear on the signed contract where applicable.
Subscription Fees:
• Normal TV R358.95 per month (Including VAT)
2.4 Hospitals/retirement village’s
One decoder must be installed at the central aerial system. This central decoder will then feed the M-Net signal through the aerial system to each TV point.
Subscription fees:
• R75.30 per TV per month (Including VAT) payment must be made to a MultiChoice on a one-cheque payment system.
2.5 Hotels/ Timeshare/ Holiday Apartments
One decoder must be installed at the central aerial system. This central decoder will then feed the M-Net signal through the aerial system to do each TV point.
• Subscription Fees:
R85.25 per TV point per month (Including VAT) payment must be made to MultiChoice on a one-cheque payment system.
2.6 Residential Buildings
One decoder must be installed at the central aerial system. This central decoder will then feed the M-Net signal through the aerial system to each TV point.
The contract is signed on the basis that the subscription fees are included in the levy account of each and every owner (No exclusions). This means the building has to be 100% fully subscribed. The body corporate must then pay MultiChoice on a one-cheque payment system.
• Subscription fees: 100% small complex – (1 – 9 units) R183.65 per unit per month 10% discount (10 units and above) R166.60 per unit per month (Including VAT)
3. COMMUNITY SERVICES CHANNEL:
There is no additional charge for this service at the present time.
4. DIGITAL SATELITE TELEVISION (DSTV):
4.1 Introduction
Once again, the services available to commercial DStv subscribers are vastly different to domestic household subscribers, and subscription fees vary according to type of the application.
NB. In each instance a separate subscription agreement must be signed.
4.2 Channel information
4.2.1 The Premium Bouquet
The Premium Bouquet of channels consists of:
• M-Net
• Movie Magic 1
• Movie Magic 2
• All Super Sport Channels
Additional channels can be added to your existing premium package @ R8.80 each
(Including VAT) per month.
4.2.2 Restricted Viewing
This category of subscriber covers all venues not open to the general public, and there are no restrictions on the type of programming allowed.
• Private clubs
• TV Lounge in residential hotels
• Company recreation areas
• Fire stations, security companies, control rooms etc.
Subscription Fees:
• Normal TV sets R 369.45 per month (Including VAT)
Additional channels can be added to your existing premium package @ R8.80 each
(Including VAT) per month.
4.2.3 Subsidised Communal/ Restricted viewing

4.2.4 Hotels/ Timeshare/ Holiday Apartments/hospitals/retirement villages
One decoder must be installed at the central aerial system. This central decoder will then feed the M-Net signal through the aerial system to do each TV point.
• Subscription Fees:
R111.90 per TV per month (Including VAT) payment must be made to MultiChoice on a one-cheque payment system
Additional channels can be added to your existing premium package @ R8.80 each
(Including VAT) per month.
4.2.5 Pubs ‘n clubs
This category of subscriber covers all venues/ areas that are open to the general public.
Programming is strictly limited to receiving Super Sport only.
• Public bars
• Restaurants
• Stadiums, etc.
Subscription fees:
• Normal TV Sets R 289.15 per month (Including VAT)
Additional channels can be added to your existing premium package @ R8.80 each
(Including VAT) per month. (Excluding those which state; hotel and restricted viewing only)
4.2.6 Fashion and Beauty Package
This Package is available to the general public with specific focus on Fashion Stores, salons, nail bars etc.
• Subscription Fees:
R283.65 per month (Channels: Fashion TV, MTV, VH1, Channel O and Cartoon Network)
Additional channels can be added to your existing premium package @ R8.80 each
(Including VAT) per month. (Excluding those which state; hotel and restricted viewing only)
